According to the source consulted, the unblocking of media outlets began on September 16. A VE Sin Filtro report published on September 29 states that 74 domains are no longer blocked in at least one internet provider, while 145 websites remain under active blocking.

A second stage that added 55 domains began on September 25. Measurements taken with OONI Probe on Cantv, Movistar, Digitel, Inter, NetUno, Airtek and ThunderNet showed that only 38 domains enjoy free and uniform access across all providers.

Cantv lifted the block on Efecto Cocuyo, El Pitazo, Crónica Uno and Tal Cual but maintains restrictions on Armando.info, El Nacional, Infobae, NTN24 and La Patilla.

Andrés Azpúrua of VE Sin Filtro said the unblocking represents a small step, although censorship violates the right to information. The organization participated in a civil protest held on March 13, 2026, before Conatel.

The announcement came from Oliver Blanco and Conatel following recommendations from the Program for the Peace.
