US Supreme Court May Rule on Venezuelan TPS Case This Monday
The court is expected to issue orders on the Mullin v. National TPS Alliance litigation, which concerns the status of temporary protections for Venezuelans.

The Supreme Court of the United States could release its list of orders on Monday, October 5, outlining the next steps in the case Mullin v. National TPS Alliance (26-48). The matter involves the temporary protected status program for Venezuelan nationals.
The file was circulated for the justices' private conference on September 28. Any decision would address how to handle a ruling from the Ninth Circuit that nullified measures taken by the former secretary of homeland security, rather than settle the underlying legality of the program's termination.
Separately, around 5,000 Venezuelans in the United States lost their work permits on October 2 when the final extension of the TPS program expired.
