According to the source consulted, the NGO Espacio Público reported on October 6, 2026, that restrictions on access to websites and digital services persist in Venezuela. A 19-day monitoring exercise by the Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI) identified 40 news portals and virtual tools that remain inaccessible.

Several of these sites recorded the highest interference levels in their historical data. Among them are AirTM at 100%, VenData at 96%, VPItv at 92%, La Patilla and Armando.info at 89%, Infobae and NTN24 at 88%, and El Nacional at 76%. VPN services Browsec, Tor and Psiphon also showed interference rates of 100%, 74% and 72% respectively.

The 47 sites unblocked on September 17 and 25 continue to show stable interference levels between 0% and 1%.

Espacio Público is a Venezuelan organization focused on digital rights and freedom of expression. OONI is an international project measuring network interference that supplied the technical data for the report.

Venezuelan telecommunications authorities have not issued public statements on the latest blockage records. The affected portals continue to report access difficulties for users inside the country.
